The Nook is a warm, versatile space in the heart of downtown St. Thomas — and a true joint venture. It's home to two local businesses who share the space, the vision, and a love of bringing people together: Joanne Hart Hair and Lisa Peacock Photography.
We created The Nook to be the kind of place we'd want to host in ourselves — cozy and beautifully finished, but flexible enough for anything from a baby shower to a micro wedding to a pop-up market. Not a hall, not a warehouse: a warm living space for an upscale event, right in the community we love.
Because we're a small, hands-on team, every booking gets our personal attention — and our on-site stylist and photographer mean you can pull together a whole celebration under one roof.
The Nook is co-owned and run by two local creatives — each bringing her own craft to your day.
Joanne is The Nook's co-owner and resident licensed stylist. She offers styling appointments and bridal hair — both at The Nook and on location for weddings — and brings the bridal hair to our all-inclusive micro weddings.
